B4GALT1 Knockout jurkat Polyclonal Cells

  • Product Type:

    Polyclonal Cell Population

  • Species:

    Homo sapiens (Human)

  • Tissue Source:

    Blood (peripheral blood)

  • Disease:

    Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)

CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout cells targeting B4GALT1 in the Jurkat T-lymphoblastoid line. This model ablates the galactosyltransferase responsible for LacNAc synthesis, disrupting glycan-dependent cell adhesion, migration, and immune synapse organization through selectin and galectin pathways. Ideal for investigating glycobiology, tumor metastasis, T-cell signaling, and congenital disorders of glycosylation.

Description

B4GALT1 Knockout Jurkat Polyclonal Cells represent a CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout cell population in which the B4GALT1 gene has been disrupted to eliminate its glycosyltransferase function.

This product provides a ready-to-use, loss-of-function model derived from the Jurkat T-lymphoblastoid cell line, facilitating the study of galactosylation-dependent processes in a T-cell context.

The polyclonal format preserves population-level heterogeneity while retaining uniform target-gene disruption, making it suitable for experiments where clonal variation is not desired.

Researchers can immediately apply these cells in functional assays to dissect the role of B4GALT1-mediated lactose-derived glycan biosynthesis in immune cell biology and beyond.
