BATF3 Knockout CaSki Polyclonal Cells

  • Product Type:

    Polyclonal Cell Population

  • Species:

    Homo sapiens (Human)

  • Tissue Source:

    Uterus (cervix)

  • Disease:

    Squamous cell carcinoma

This product is a CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal BATF3 knockout population generated from the Ca Ski human cervical carcinoma cell line, an HPV16-positive epithelial model. BATF3 is a critical transcription factor in the IRF8-BATF3 network, controlling genes such as IL12B and TAP1 that are essential for antigen cross-presentation and antiviral immunity. Disruption of BATF3 in this tumor context enables dissection of immune evasion programs and antigen processing in cervical cancer. Applications include tumor-immune coculture assays, cytokine response studies, and genome-wide transcriptomic analyses to explore BATF3-dependent immune signaling. This polyclonal knockout resource supports investigation of HPV-driven oncogenic mechanisms and screening for modulators of tumor immunogenicity in a clinically relevant cellular background.

Description

The BATF3 Knockout Ca Ski Polyclonal Cells product consists of a heterogeneous population of Ca Ski cells edited via CRISPR/Cas9 to disrupt the BATF3 gene, yielding a polyclonal knockout model.

This loss-of-function system enables robust interrogation of BATF3-dependent molecular mechanisms without clonal isolation, preserving the complexity of the parental line while abolishing target-gene function across the pool.

Researchers receive a ready-to-use polyclonal knockout cell population, suitable for direct application in downstream assays requiring an isogenic background with uniform genetic disruption.
