CD46 Knockout NCI-H1299 Polyclonal Cells are a CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal population with disrupted CD46 expression in a lung adenocarcinoma background (NCI-H1299; p53 null, EGFR/KRAS wild-type). CD46 functions as a complement regulator via factor I-mediated cleavage of C3b/C4b and as an autophagy inducer through the GOPC-VPS34/Beclin-1 axis. This knockout model eliminates complement protection and impairs autophagy induction, enabling studies on complement-dependent cytotoxicity, viral entry (measles, adenovirus), and CD46-targeted cancer immunotherapy. Suitable for flow cytometry, Western blotting, and functional assays such as complement-mediated cytotoxicity and autophagy flux analysis.
