The IL1RAP Knockout A-549 Polyclonal Cells are a CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout population in A-549 lung adenocarcinoma cells, designed to eliminate expression of the IL1RAP co-receptor. IL1RAP partners with IL1R1 to propagate signals from IL-1 family cytokines (IL-1??, IL-1??, IL-33, IL-36) via MyD88, IRAK1/4, and NF-??B/MAPK cascades, leading to pro-inflammatory and tumor-promoting gene expression. This knockout model enables dissection of IL-1/IL-33-driven inflammatory responses, downstream target regulation (e.g., IL-6, IL-8, TNF-??), and pathway interrogation in lung cancer biology. Typical applications include IL-1?? stimulation assays, phospho-NF-??B western blotting, RT-qPCR, ELISA, and drug screening for IL1RAP-targeted therapies.

IL1RAP Knockout A-549 Polyclonal Cells are a genetically engineered, CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout cell population derived from the A-549 human lung adenocarcinoma cell line.

This product consists of a heterogeneous pool of cells carrying targeted disruption of the IL1RAP gene, avoiding clonal selection to maintain population-level diversity.

The polyclonal format reflects a CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene ablation approach that introduces loss-of-function mutations across the IL1RAP locus, generating a stable knockout model without claims of monoclonality or defined biallelic modifications.
