GDAP1 Knockout Raji Polyclonal Cells

  • Product Type:

    Polyclonal Cell Population

  • Species:

    Homo sapiens (Human)

  • Tissue Source:

    Bone

  • Disease:

    Burkitt lymphoma

CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout of GDAP1 in Raji B lymphocytes, designed for investigating mitochondrial fission, apoptosis, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease mechanisms. GDAP1, a mitochondrial outer membrane protein, interacts with DRP1 and FIS1 to promote mitochondrial division, and its disruption leads to elongated mitochondria and neuronal dysfunction. This knockout model enables detailed analysis of mitochondrial morphology, apoptotic signaling, and oxidative stress pathways in an EBV-positive Burkitt's lymphoma background, supporting drug screening and mechanistic studies in peripheral neuropathy.

Description

The GDAP1 Knockout Raji Polyclonal Cells represent a CRISPR/Cas9-edited polyclonal knockout cell population with targeted disruption of the GDAP1 gene, generated in the Raji B lymphocyte cell line.

This polyclonal knockout model provides a heterogeneous pool of gene-edited cells, allowing researchers to study the loss-of-function effects of GDAP1 without the constraints of monoclonal selection, thereby capturing a broader range of phenotypes relevant to mitochondrial dynamics and peripheral nerve pathology.
